YWAM!!!

The first day.

The first day of a whole new season.

For anyone who does not know I moved to Colorado Springs, CO… yesterday. I am going to University of Nations/ Youth with a Mission to complete a discipleship training school. 

I have been really debating on whether to blog through this journey on my school. I just feel like I want my support system to know how I am doing and what is going on here at school. If I gave support or prayed for this, I would want to know. 

First of all, I met a girl named Jasmine a few weeks ago who was living in Branson (where I attended school for 2 years) and was going to the same school in the same place. We had coffee and really hit it off.

After meeting her we decided to drive the 12 hours here to Colorado. We had a great drive down here. We made great time. Jasmine is used to traveling and she had like a traveling regiment that we stuck to. haha It was great. Then we got here at like 10:30 p.m. and Jasmine had made plans for us to stay with some of her family friends. She grew up here in Colorado Springs. Her friends were SO GREAT. They fed us. Had beds made for us. We talked for a few hours last night.

I saw the mountains for the first time this morning. Screaming then ensued of course… Then this morning her/ (my new friend) ha Bethany showed us around the kind of ‘old Colorado’ downtown area. LOVED IT. LOVED IT. LOVED IT.

My nerves today have been crazy just meeting SO many people at once and moving in and not getting lost in this huge building. (the YWAM base is actually an old Hilton hotel… everything looks the same kind of with the carpet and stairs and everything) There are 17 of us that are here for the school. I feel like I have already made quite a handful of friends. My three roommates are really sweet & great. I can’t even explain how much peace that I feel about being here. God has totally provided x a million for this entire journey and I can’t wait to see what happens. HE IS SO FAITHFUL & I am sure I am going to learn that truth to the extreme these next six months. Can’t wait….
