Goodbye Phones!!!

My roommate and I gave our phones away to our friend Mark for one week. We have a lot of reasons for doing this. We feel very controlled by our phones. I know that moderation is a big deal, but I want to appreciate people more whenever I see them. I hate the fact that I am SO distracted by my phone at all times. I am not saying this couldn’t be a problem in the future but with prayer and a steadfast heart I’ll step out on faith and say that it will be different in the future.

Our theme verse:

 ”In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

 The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
